A few years ago I started having my niece Gaby create some packets for teachers to use with the kids in their classrooms. I offer some of the packets for free and some of them I sell on Teachers Pay Teachers. This year I’ve heard from some of the teachers who used The Trip Clip activities with their kids:

Teaching with the Grocery List
A number of teachers have also contacted me to let me know how well the picture grocery list activity has worked for them and their students.
I love that this activity is useful for kids as young as kindergarteners, and as old as high school students! The pictures make it super accessible, food is a topic everyone can relate to, and the life skill of buying food is such an important one for every kid to learn.
Learning through grocery shopping outside the classroom too is a topic near and dear to my heart since I used these lists often with my own kids. There’s so much kids can learn through this simple (and required) chore that every family needs to do!
